Lisnagaver ILOL 29 marked a significant occasion at their recent meeting when no less than seven members were recognised for long service to the lodge.
Seven they say is a perfect number and it was the perfect number and the perfect night as Lisnagaver marked an amazing record of service. In total 245 years of service to the lodge was recorded with a record breaking 185 years from one Family the Fentons whose dedication and leadership in both band and lodge is a testimony to how family focused the Independent Order really is. We hope that the next generations of Fentons and Marks will literally follow in their father and grandfathers footsteps for a a long.
Two 60-year jewels and certificates were presented to Bros William Fenton and Alex Mark. It was a family affair when it came to the 25-year jewels and certificates with the presentations being made to Bro Tommy Fenton, two of his sons Alister & Philip and two of his nephews David and Kenneth.
