It is with the most profound feeling of sadness that we learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Il.

Having earlier this year celebrated the great occasion of her Platinum Jubilee, we must now mark the end of a historic era.

Her life has been one of diligent and devoted service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth throughout seventy years of her reign as our Queen.

As a world leader she has seen no equal and our nation has been blessed during her time as head of state. We will never see her like again.

We thank God for her long life and for the Christian example that was the hallmark of her reign. At this sad time we offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to her family and trust that they will know the nearness of the God of all comfort.

Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been
faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over
many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.
Matthew 25 v 23.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2nd Timothy 4 vs 7-8
